Sustire is a design concept that aims to solve some of the problems that conventional car tires create. These include non-biodegradable micro plastic, complex and expensive construction and the possibility of a flat tire when punctured. Sustire is build around an aluminium hub that can be mixed and matched with different tire designs. The thread and spokes are injection moulded around the hub. They provide the suspension and can be customised parametrically.
